Situation: The location of this hotel between the mountains and the sea allows guests to take in the natural beauty of Asturias. A stretch of just 5 km separates the coastline from the Sueve mountain range. Those who come by car will be able to bathe in the sea and enjoy the mountain air, both on the same day. A car also enables guests to explore the numerous paths which run through the surrounding mountains. Alternatively guests can take a stroll along the beaches or coastline just 2 km away. The hotel is set in the centre of the village of Colunga, 500 m from the bus station and 2 km from the beach at La Griega. The lively, historic cities of Oviedo and Gijón are only some 40 minutes' easy drive away along the Cantabric Highway and are perfect for a days' shopping. Oviedo Airport is just 80 km away.

Lodging: The rooms offer a modern use of space, combined with the unique architecture of the historic building. The contemporary décor is enhanced by typical local elements such as exposed stone and wood. All of the rooms of the hotel are different and all are soundproofed and come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub. Naturally the rooms also offer all the extras guests require, including central heating, an alarm clock, satellite TV, a safe, a minibar, an Internet connection, a radio, a hairdryer and a direct dial telephone, as well as background music and air conditioning. Rooms for non-smokers are available and some of the accommodation features a balcony or terrace.

Services: This small, delightful building dates back to 1881 and was converted into a hotel in 2003. This family-friendly establishment comprises a total of 10 charming rooms spread over 3 floors, including 8 doubles and 2 singles. Careful restoration has truly accentuated the charm of this romantic hotel and guests can enjoy tranquil and welcoming accommodation from which they may make the most of the many cultural and recreational activities on offer in the area. The hotel features a lovely little private garden. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a reception desk open until 11 pm, a hotel safe, a lift and a café. Guests may also take advantage of the garage parking for an additional fee.

Board: A full breakfast is served in hotel's coffee shop, or on the garden terrace.

Comments: Guests are requested to inform the hotel if they intend to arrive later than 6 pm. The reception desk is open until 11 pm. Parking in the hotel garage is available for an extra charge.

How to arrive: Guests arriving by car should use highway A8/E70, take Exit A8 345 to Colunga/Arriondas and continue to Colunga. The approach to the village will take guest on Generalísimo Avenue - follow the yellow signs to the garden entrance and the hotel parking area.
